The Big Picture
Nestled in the southeast hills of Salem, Fairview Addition is the heir apparent to what we started 20 years ago in Monmouth (Edwards Addition)—front porches, tree lined streets, pocket parks garages tucked to the back and urban agriculture. When we say we don’t just build houses, we build homes and neighborhoods: it all starts with the concept that design makes a difference in how we know our neighbor, how to embrace the street, and who, ultimately, we are as a community. We wake up each morning with the firm belief that good design yields great spaces which helps everyone live better.

Pocket parks are a big part of what makes our neighborhoods so livable. These walkable amenities are a wonderful place for young and old to play and enjoy.
Village Farm at Fairview Addition
From April until October, the farm is about growing things–food, friendships and community. Lucky Crow Farm leases the land and grows about 1/3 of its overall production here. It’s local and all organic–what could be more sustainable than that?
Yet to be built, but the Fairview Addition Amphitheater is slated as the green space at the hub of the neighborhood. Our plans include a small outside event venue with a backdrop of terraces that offer stunning views to the northeast. And if that is not enough, check out the views from the observatory.
How about views to the heavens from our state of the art observatory. Already in place, the observatory has been well managed by our very own resident astronomer, Nick Liepens.
The neighbors, are what turns our series of beautiful houses into a real community. Consistently, the people who live in Fairview Addition. like in Edwards Addition, comment that living here is more than just residing in a house on a street in a town. Neighbors know each other, they look out for each other, they socialize with one another. This is what makes our work so rewarding.
